Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September 1983) is an American actress, best known for her roles as Shannon Rutherford on the ABC TV series Lost and Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Maggie Grace, originally from Worthington from Ohio dropped out high school and moved into Los Angeles after her divorced parents divorced. However, in 2001, despite finances she managed to secure her first big performance in the video online series Rachel's Room playing the main character. The television film Murder in Greenwich, in which she played 15-years-old Martha Moxley earned her the nomination of a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford, the role she played in Lost between 2004 and 2005, was selected for an Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace left the show in order to pursue a acting career. Grace was back on the Lost series in the final two episodes as Shannon. The year 2013 saw Grace appear in Californianation, the sixth Season. The role she plays is Faith, a groupie who serves as a model for the stars, and draws the eye of Hank Moody (David Duchovny). As a part of the Gyllenhaal Family, she's the daughter and older sister of the actor Jake Gyllenhaal. As a teenager her career began in small roles for her father. She also appeared in Donnie Darko along with her sister. Then she appeared in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind as well as Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal received critical acclaim for her performances as the lead in the romantic erotic comedy Secretary (2002) as well as the thriller Sherrybaby (2006) each of which resulted in an Golden Globe Award nomination.
