Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. As a child, she was exposed to lots of classical music and old Boleros. Also, she listened to the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana is passionate about opera and tangos, along with any dramatic performance. She began singing and learning music with her mother, and commenced more serious singing training at the age of 16 under the renown Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. In the following years, she was a student at an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. The singer performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young musician and student. After moving from Mexico to the United States in 2000, she sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. Passion and enthusiasm for music, art, and performing has her involved with many local organizations as a teacher and performer. Ana was a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as well as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to Inland Master Chorale members for their permission to play classic Latin American song.
